Body tempering tool · Made for the floor

Deep pressure.
Solid steel.
No fluff.

The Iron Pillow is a heavy, contoured steel tempering tool for targeted soft-tissue work. Use it to load tissue with controlled pressure — hips, glutes, quads, calves, and more — without relying on foam that collapses under load.

Why steel

Pressure that doesn’t give out

Soft rollers compress. The Iron Pillow doesn’t. The dense steel mass lets you apply steady, deep pressure and move with control — useful when you want load, not bounce.

  • Contoured contact Hourglass profile seats into tissue instead of skating across it.
  • Two-handed control Knurled handles give a secure grip when you’re placing and rolling under load.
  • Gym-proof build Machined steel meant for hard floors, racks, and real training spaces.
  • Simple tool No batteries, apps, or settings — just mass, shape, and your intent.

How it works

Place. Load. Move slowly.

Body tempering with the Iron Pillow is about controlled pressure — not aggressive bouncing or forcing through pain. Start light, breathe, and stay within what the tissue can tolerate.

  1. Set the position

Lie prone or supine on a mat. Place the contoured roller on the target area (e.g. upper glute, quad, calf).

  2. Add controlled load

Use the handles to guide the tool. Let steel provide the pressure — you provide the placement and pace.

  3. Roll or hold

Slow passes or short holds. Adjust angle with the hourglass shape to hit the line you want.

  4. Respect recovery

This is heavy work. Use common sense: avoid bony landmarks, acute injury, and anything that feels wrong.

Targeted work — guided by the handles, loaded by the steel.

Not medical advice. The Iron Pillow is a training/recovery tool. If you have a medical condition, injury, or are unsure whether deep pressure work is appropriate, talk to a qualified professional first.

FAQ

Straight answers

What’s included?

One Iron Pillow body tempering tool, packed and shipped in a USPS medium flat-rate box to a U.S. address.

Where do you ship?

United States only for now. International orders are not available yet; no international price is listed until we open that channel.

How heavy is it?

About 24 pounds. That mass is the point — it’s a steel tempering tool, not a foam roller.

Is this the same as a foam roller?

No. Foam compresses. The Iron Pillow is solid steel with a contoured profile designed for loaded, controlled pressure work (body tempering style).

Do I need a partner?

Many positions work better with a partner guiding the tool. Some self-use is possible depending on the area and your setup. Use judgment and start conservatively.
